Adding A Dashboard

About

In this section of the course, we move from running scripts in VS Code to running them through a clean, user-friendly dashboard. Instead of typing commands into a terminal, you’ll launch tasks, update settings, and view logs with a click of a button. You’ll learn how the dashboard is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: HTML provides the structure, the text, images, inputs, and buttons. CSS controls the look – colours, spacing, fonts, and the overall layout. JavaScript makes it interactive, connecting the buttons to your Python scripts and showing the live logs. By the end, you’ll be able to: Add your own branding (logos, colours, titles). Adjust fonts, button styles, and backgrounds. Change layouts to fit more or fewer features. Extend the dashboard with new sections as your agents grow. This step transforms your project from “just a script” into something that feels like software. It’s easier to use, less intimidating for clients, and a solid foundation if you want to expand into more advanced tools or multi-page interfaces later.
